"The roads of Xalapa are not what I thought" is the translation of the title of this comic by Atenea, an artist from Veracruz who mixes autobio with fantasy in this collection of stories about public transport. Lovely rendered in pencil colour, these short comics are, according to the author, a homage to Paul Kirchner's "The Bus" strips, but with a unique Mexican flavour.
