🍏 MORE STICKER INFO

I love stickers so much that I have been making and working with them for over 15 years! All stickers at GATOSHOP have been selected and tested by me (Inechi!) for you to enjoy (^∇^)ノ✧。・*・

⭐️ MATERIALS
✴️ VINYL:
The best sticker material! It is a highly durable, thick kind of plastic that is printed and then laminated (sealed with a protective film on top). You can put these stickers anywhere– they are made to survive the apocalypse!
✴️ PVC: Polyvinyl Chloride is another kind of plastic used for stickers, with a wide variety of finishes and varying degrees of thickness and durability. It is a waterproof material, but unless it is laminated with some kind of finish (glossy, matte, holographic, etc.) the print can start to scratch off with use! For maximum durability, make sure to place your sticker on a flat, clean surface that is not subject to much friction.
✴️ EPOXY: A resin made out of hard plastic that can be used to make super durable stickers! It has a characteristic bubble-like 3D finish that looks really cool, and can be mixed with glitter for an extra sparkly effect. Only downsides to this material are that it only sticks to flat surfaces, as it is not flexible, and also that it tends to take a yellow tint after long periods of sun exposure!
✴️ PAPER: The least durable of all materials, these stickers can have a lovely texture, but unless they are laminated, they are best used for journaling or just to be kept in your collection ♡

⭐️ DIY lamination
You can protect your unlaminated stickers by covering them with clear or holographic adhesive vinyl! If not possible, a simple piece of clear tape can do the trick too. Another great option is to encapsulate your stickers with UV resin. You could even use nail polish for this (clear or with glitter) but be careful! Do a test before you ruin your favourite sticker because some inks can react to the varnish and melt the print off...
